It has been a dream of sailing to warmer climates. Put the boat there and to continue the following year. Now it’s time, I’ve fixed a lot of things on the boat. A new engine and an update of all equipment onboard. It feels good to have a boat that is in order before the trip. I go as far as possible, how long the trip goes this year I don’t know.
Although everything was tested, my old Furunu radar broke down after a couple of hours, I called Ramantenn in Gothenburg, they had a new radar in stock and promised to deliver it to Nya Varvet in Gothenburg.
A long trip without working radar would be stupid. Course towards Gothenburg.
