While sailing to the Mediterranean, I became friends with a couple from New Zealand. They visited us in Sweden this summer and now we visited them in New Zeeland.
After a long flight from Oslo via Doha to Auckland, the adventure in this wonderful country began.
Since we were only going to be there for three weeks we chose to first visit our friends in the middle of the north island for a week and then we took the train to Wellington the day after, we took the ferry over to the south island.
We rented a car and drove along the north coast of the southern island.
